Parallel Sparse Linear Algebra, INRIA, Bordeaux

We are following a special course on parallel sparse linear algebra this whole week. Our goal is twofold:

  1. meet specialists in the field and see if we can discover some new tools;
  2. see how to use special sparse tools in the classical version of the deconvolution algorithm we use.

It turns out we already found a new tool, a competitor to CULA : MAGMA. We met one of the multi-GPU MAGMA (called SPLAGMA) developpers, Emmanuel Agullon, and with his help we'll install SPLAGMA on our cluster.
